Our Lumin8 devices utilize optimized energy output and two clinically proven wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to work at the cellular level, stimulating new collagen production and reducing fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, and other visible signs of aging.

The red wavelength (633nm) reduces inflammation, pigmentation, and redness and helps prompt cellular repair and circulation for a more vibrant complexion.

The near-infrared wavelength (830nm) targets deeper fibroblast cells, stimulatingnew collagen and elastin production, resulting in plumper, firmer, more youthful looking skin.

One of the most well-known purposes of blue wavelength (415nm) is its effectiveness in treating acne. Blue light targets the bacteria responsible for causing acne (P.acnes bacteria). Interestingly, acne-causing bacteria emit a photosensitizer which makes them exceptionally sensitive to light and vulnerable to damage by specific wavelengths.  

Orange wavelength (620nm) is effective in treating rosacea.

We recommend using Aurelux™ Lumin8™ devices 3-5 times per week for 4-6 weeks. After the initial 6-week period, continue with routine maintenance treatments as needed, based on your lifestyle and skincare requirements. Since everyone's skin is unique, consistency is key—find a schedule that works best for you!

We recommend using the devices only 3-5 times per week, as the effects of daily use have not been studied. While there is minimal risk, we advise against using the device in any manner not specified in these instructions.

With consistent use, you should start to see results from your Lumin8 device in approximately 4 weeks. To track your progress, we recommend taking before and after photos, as changes can be difficult to notice without comparing these images.

There are a total of 368 LEDs, 92 red, 92 near-infrared, 92 blue, and 92 orange. The red and near-infrared LEDs are encased in 92 dual chip bulbs. More than any other in-home RLT mask.

It has been tested and meets medical device standards, including the IEC/EN 62471 Photobiological Eye Safety Standard. However, for added comfort, we offer optional eyewear.
